When my 4 year old told me he was a girl inside, I said "Be who you are." With our love and support she socially transitioned a couple years later and is living authentically for the first time.
Some days I feel like I am shouting from the rooftops, calling out for help into the night. At times the role of parent and advocate is a lonely one, but I cling to the fact that we are not alone.
Once I began this blog I learned that we are part of a loving and supportive community of people that have reached out from across the planet to share their stories and lives with me. I will be forever grateful for all of your love, support and collaboration.

As Dr. Seuss once said "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." I have found this to be true in every single case.
